the word search on my pdf files does not work. i type in words that are right on the page i am looking at and it still says "No matches were found". i converted the the file into a Word document and used the word search but it still won’t work. any solutions?

Convert your PDF to txt or rtf format files with http://www.tweakpdf.com/pdf-converter.html:Tweak PDF converter 4.0 , see if it’s empty. If so, you may need this one:http://www.free-ocr.com/

Maybe your PDF is a scanned one, that means the whole page is an images, even if you convert it to Word document, it is still an images, so the machine can not recognise the text.

You can convert the PDF to Word using some OCR PDF to Word Converter, after conversion, you can search the text.
