Some of the best ways to increase your vertical are plyometrics and explosive weight training. Plyometrics add to your vertical with the constant jumping and it makes your calfs incredibly elastic. If you combine that with the strength you gain in your quads from the explosive weight lifting, you are sure to find yourself incredibly improved.
Combine your training with good meals, like porridge and eggs for breakfast, salmon or tuna for lunch and dinner and mix it up with some meat in between.
Lastly you want to think about you sleep and rest. Muscles heal while you rest and you actually get stronger if you let your muscles recoop. Taking 15-20 minutes of deep relaxation after a practise is highly recommended.
