The best thing about surround sound technology
Surround sound technology is fantastic invention. Some people love to listen to music using it, but in my opinion older types of stereo speakers works much better for me than surround sound systems. However, it is completely different story with movies. I just love watching movies with my surround sound system on. It gives you the feeling like you are in the movie. You can hear the sound behind you, next to you, everywhere. I just recently went to see Avatar with the 3D glasses and surround sound and I just loved it. Not the movie itself much, but the effects that can be created with the modern technology. I cannot wait for some whole body immersion into the virtual reality type of thing that will allow me to feel the elements, hear the sound, see the picture 3D. Wow
