Hey All , Well ive purchased the Ravensburger disney themes 1 puzzle , its of mickey mouse , snow white , 101 dolmations , dumbo , donald duck , cinderella and all them classics on one , I bought it at whsmith , and loads of it is a gold colour – so its hard I would like to complete it though instead of giving up like i always do! So is there any advice & tips on doing a 1000 piece puzzle , I have started by puttin one picture together , also it is hard starting at edges cos its all the same border and pattern , so any advice i would appreciate it , and ofcourse the best receive 10 points ( mind it dont have to be long , but just good info and helpful) but 2 pts anyways

Generally, with a puzzle, I try to get the edges first. If that isn’t possible, just look for the pieces that are around the same color, and look like they will go together.

Try to work from the edges in, if you can. Always works for me.

This engine is part of the Ravensburger/Soder Friends 24-piece floor puzzle.

The engine I’m asking about is the one in the front row, on the right and has a dark yellowish color.

I’m pretty sure the other engines here are: Gordon, Toby, Emily, James, Henry, Percy and Thomas, but I need the name of the eight one. Is it Stepney? Or Molly? Although I think Molly is a lighter yellow color.

If this were the whole "steam team" of 8, it would include Edward, but… he’s blue and is definitely missing from this puzzle. Odd.

In looking for this, I also realized that the engine I thought was Toby is actually Mavis.

I think it’s Murdoch.

Made by ravensburger, has to be that one, have looked on ebay and many websites and the only ones I have found is on french and german sites with extortionate postage costs.
Can someone help please?

I have these two board games: ‘Explore Europe’ by Ravensburger and ‘Treasures and Trapdoors’ by Waddington’s and I lost the rules of both. It would be really great if anyone explained the rules to me because I forgot them over the years.
