Many people who have dogs for pets turn to the internet when its time to find information about common dog health symptoms. The way the world is so connected now, the info you need could be right at your fingertips.

Just make sure you understand this does not take the place of regular vet visits for your canine friend.

For instance, a dog that is healthy has a cold wet nose caused by a clear discharge from their nostrils. If your dog has a bad smelling and icky colored discharge coming from the nose, you need to have your dog looked at right away.

Discharges like this in puppies could spell signs of distemper and may be fatal if not cared for directly.
