Native Mohawk word for Strength?

August 6, 2009 - 5:08 am 1 Comment

Heye everyone! i’m new on yahoo, and my girlfriend has been searching for the word Strength in Mohawk with little luck.. if anyone knows what the word is id be very grateful. thanks!

I checked the only Mohawk language book I have, Kanyen’keha Tewatati (Let’s Speak Mohawk), but I can’t find the word strength in there.

Best suggestion I can offer is to google the Mohawk nation (they almost certainly have a website), and contact them. They operate schools that teach Mohawk, so someone there has to know how to say strength.

Skennen’kowa (Great peace… a Mohawk greeting)

Blue Chip Orchestra – Ate Heye Lo

A powerful fusion of European pop electronics and Native American ceremony. Austria’s Blue Chip Orchestra ( Hubert Bognermayr and Harald Zuschrader ) sets the early drumming, soulful chanting and hypnotic percussion of native music into a beat-driven ambient soundscape.”Ate Heye Lo” is an example of the above mentioned fusion. From their CD “Red Sky Beat”.

Are the expensive razor worth it?

July 31, 2009 - 5:48 am 3 Comments

ive been buying the cheap ones that come in the packs of 5 for like a dollar….. but im thinking of getting a good one like the fusion orsomethingg .. does anyone have any advise heye

well, i am a girl and it does make a difference for me. i had problems with the cheap ones(lots of nicks and cuts) so now i only use the venus and the quattro. if you can use the cheap ones, i would do that. or, just do the math and see what really is cheaper– you know with buying refills vs new razors… ETC
